Experience a new way to enjoy a memorable artwork, in a process that builds on centuries of meditation and contemplation practice.

Anyone can do it! No special skill or prior experience is needed! You're guided through the process from start to finish, and there's ample time to share your insights and benefit from others'.

Don't expect a lecture or critique. This is an exercise in pure looking. Leave your art baggage at the door. Learn to hit the "pause" button on all those distractions and let the awesome power of the mind go to work.

As a bonus, you'll go home with a skill that serves you well in every other walk of life: the hard-to-practice art of paying attention in the present moment.

There is A LOT going on this summer at the Torrance Art Museum.  Check out their latest eblast to find out what's happening...

TAM NEW EXHIBITIONS ARE JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!!!

The TAMA Board of Directors is super excited to partner with the TAM for their very first Exhibition Opening on Saturday, June 7, 2014!! 

A variety of programs are planned for our members including a curator-led tour on Friday (before the exhibition opens) June 6 at 2 p.m.  The TAM Curators will guide us through the new exhibits and point out the highlights in the Main Gallery and Gallery Two.

On Saturday, members will enjoy PREFERENTIAL SEATING at the Panel Discussion from 5 - 6 p.m. and will be introduced to the artists at the Opening Reception from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.  The champagne will be flowing for members to celebrate their first exhibition as TAM supporters and TAMA members!

There is still time to join before this exhibition opens on Saturday, June 7th.  Download your application and bring it to the museum prior to the opening so we can prepare for your arrival!

First General Membership Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the Torrance Art Museum Conference Room.  We welcome you to attend!!  An evite has been sent as a reminder; if you have not received one, please send us an email and we'll get one out to you ASAP!
