We'd like to thank the over 350 TAM supporters who showed up & enthusiastically purchased piece after piece on Saturday night! It was AMAZING! People SOOOOO excited about art! Loved it....very inspiring. Here's a news clip in case you missed the event....(starts at 13:33).
TAMA raised about $16K to support the TAM - artists' stipends, shipping costs, educational and general programming will benefit greatly from this event!
If you attended the event, we encourage you to reach out (via Google search, etc) to your artist!! Many of them were really interested in who purchased their piece. They would love to hear from you so if you're so inclined, please reach out!!
As much as this was a fundraiser, it was also an art awareness raiser; many of us learned about different art styles out there and had a chance to chat with the artists who attended.
Overall, a tremendously successful event. Many, many thanks to all involved - volunteers, patrons, museum staff, TAMA members...everyone! Thanks very much!!
